Find answers to common questions about our training programs and services.
What is the difference between Internal Auditor and Lead Auditor training?
Internal Auditor training focuses on planning and conducting audits within your own organization to evaluate compliance and drive continual improvement of the management system. Lead Auditor training goes further, preparing you to lead audit teams, manage full audit programs, and conduct external audits as well. Lead Auditor is the more advanced qualification and typically follows Internal Auditor experience.
What are the prerequisites for Internal Auditor and Lead Auditor training?
For Internal Auditor training, participants should have a basic understanding of the relevant ISO standard and management system concepts; prior audit experience is helpful but not essential. For Lead Auditor training, a good knowledge of the applicable ISO standard, familiarity with the Plan‑Do‑Check‑Act (PDCA) cycle, and some prior exposure to internal or supplier audits are strongly recommended.
How long do the Internal Auditor and Lead Auditor courses take?
Our Internal Auditor courses are typically 2 days of focused training, covering audit principles, planning, execution, and reporting. Lead Auditor training is 5 days (40 hours) of intensive learning, combining theory, case studies, role‑plays, and practical audit exercises.
Are QA Assessor courses recognized globally?
Yes, QA Assessor provides ISO Internal and Lead Auditor training designed in line with ISO 19011 and relevant ISO management system standards. Our certificates are used by professionals and organizations in many countries to demonstrate ISO auditing knowledge, skills, and successful completion of structured auditor training.
Do you offer online training

What training materials are provided?
We provide LMS access where you can view training materials, including study materials, training ppt, recordings, relevant standards references, case studies, hangouts, assignments, and the examination. LMS access is valid for one year from the invoice date.
Can my organization get on‑site training?
Yes. We provide in‑house training at your premises or a chosen venue, following our standard course content and structure.
Is there a minimum group size for corporate training?
For cost‑effective in‑house delivery and good interaction, we recommend a minimum of 5 participants. We can accommodate larger groups, and volume‑based pricing or corporate packages may be available depending on the number of delegates and courses.
What is the examination process for Lead Auditor Training Course?
Lead auditor courses include a 2‑hour online exam with a combination of multiple‑choice and written questions, with a 70% pass mark. One retake is available with additinal admin cost, and certificate issued within 24 hours of passing.
Can I use books or notes during the exam?
No. The exam is closed‑book; books, notes, mobiles, and other materials are not allowed during the examination.
Is the exam proctored?
Yes. Our online exams are proctored using live webcam monitoring and a secure locked exam browser that restricts access to other websites and applications while you are taking the exam.
How do I register for a course?
You can register by filling out the online form on our website with your course preference and details. Our team will then contact you to provide all the necessary information, after which you can proceed with payment and confirm your enrollment for the course.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfers, credit/debit cards, and company purchase orders. Payment plans are available for individual participants/delegates.
What is the language of training?
Our ISO Internal and Lead Auditor training is delivered in English as the primary language. For corporate or in‑house programs, alternative language support may be discussed subject to trainer availability and specific requirements.
What happens if I fail the exam?
If you do not achieve the required pass mark in the final examination, you may re‑sit the exam, typically at a reduced re‑sit fee or in the next available session. Your result is displayed in the LMS, without showing the exam answers, to protect the integrity of the examination, and you must retake your exam within 6 months.
How long is my LMS access valid?
LMS access, including training materials, assignments, and the online examination, is valid for one year from the invoice date.
How can my certificate be verified?
You can verify this certificate online by entering the certificate number in the “Verify Certificate” section on the QA Assessor website or by scanning the QR code printed on the certificate.
Can I reschedule my exam or course date?
If you need to change your exam or course date, you can contact our team in advance; rescheduling is subject to availability and our current reschedule/cancellation policy.
