This CPD-UK certified course will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to audit a OHSMS against ISO 45001:2018 in accordance with ISO 19011.

Course Details:

This Lead Auditor training course provides knowledge and skills required to perform 1st; 2nd & 3rd-party audits of OHSMS against ISO 45001:2018; in accordance with ISO 19011:2018. This course spends a good portion of the time on discussions; exercises and case studies to help students to consolidate knowledge and acquire hands on experience that are instrumental in their capacity as a ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS Lead Auditor. This course is aligned with ISO 19011:2018 guidelines for auditing management systems and ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS requirements. Students who passed continuous assessments and examination; will get Certificate of Achievement. This Certificate of Achievement is valid for three years.

To accommodate your individual learning preferences and requirements, this course is offered in two formats: Classroom-Based or Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT). Depending on your chosen format, the course can be conducted over 5 days totaling 40 hours, or it can take place in shorter online sessions. The course will culminate with an examination.

Prerequisites

Before starting this training course, you are expected to have knowledge of the requirements of ISO 45001:2018, which may be gained by completing a OH&S Foundation Training Course or equivalent. Knowledge also includes the following OH&S management principles and concepts:

• OH&S sustainable development
• The purpose of an initial review as the basis for establishing an OHSMS and the evaluation of activities, products and services associated with normal, abnormal and emergency operating conditions
• Consideration of risks and hazards in respect of:
  • Workplace locations and activities both inside and outside the normal place of work
  • Employees, visitors, vulnerable individuals and other interested parties in areas where the organization has control and influence over health and safety
  • OH&S legislation and legal compliance as part of the OHSMS
• An appreciation of evaluation methods, risks and hazards, mitigation, and the identification of improvements (e.g. risk assessments and method statements)
