This course will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to audit an EMS against ISO 14001:2015 in accordance with ISO 19011.

Course Details

This ISO 14001:2015 EMS Lead Auditor training course provides knowledge and skills required to perform 1st, 2nd & 3rd-party audits of EMS against ISO 14001:2015, in accordance with ISO 19011:2018, as applicable. This course spends a good portion of the time on discussions, exercises and case studies to help students consolidate knowledge and acquire hands-on experience that are instrumental in their capacity as an ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor. This course is aligned with ISO 19011:2018 guidelines for auditing management systems and ISO 14001:2015 EMS requirements. Students who pass the continuous assessment and the examination will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement. This Certificate of Achievement is valid for three years.

To accommodate your individual learning preferences and requirements, this course is offered in two formats: Classroom-Based or Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT). Depending on your chosen format, the course can be conducted over 5 days totaling 40 hours, or it can take place in shorter online sessions. The course will culminate with an examination.

Prerequisites

Before starting the course, you are expected to have prior knowledge of the requirements of ISO 14001, which may be gained by completing an EMS foundation training course, and knowledge of the concept of environmentally sustainable development whereby an organization must ensure that actions of today do not degrade the environment of the future, including:

  • The purpose of an initial review as the basis for establishing an EMS and the evaluation and establishment of activities, products and services associated with normal, abnormal and emergency operating conditions
  • Considerations of environmental aspects and maintenance of ecosystems (watercourses, SSSIs etc.) with respect to:
    • Emission and/or release to air, water and land, and energy lost (e.g. heat, radiation, vibration, steam and compressed air)
    • Use of raw materials, natural resources and energy
    • Public nuisance such as light pollution, noise, vibration and odor
  • Environmental legislation and how legal compliance forms part of an EMS
  • Methods for evaluation of significant impacts of the environmental aspects identified and how their ranking influences operations and improvement priorities

40 hours.

3. What is the total fees for course including examination and certification?
The standard examination fee is £250.00, but we are providing a special offer £99.00 (60% OFF only for limited slots). After making the payment, you will also get online LMS portal access for training material, online assignment submission and examination. For Indian citizens, the course fee is ₹13,000.00 only (through bank transfer, GST already included) for limited slots.

4. If I want to take the exam, then how can I?
We provide our LMS User ID and Password for the exam. During the examination, you need to join a live Zoom meeting and keep the camera on all the time.

5. Can I use books or study material during the exam?
No, any material, notes, mobile, etc. are not allowed during the exam.

6. What is the passing score of the exam?
70%. (All questions are multiple choice questions).

7. What if I fail in the exam?
If you don’t pass the exam, then you can retake the exam in the next examination schedule without paying any extra fees.

8. What if I fail again in retake exam?
If you don’t pass the exam in the retake then you have to take the entire training sessions again and pay the exam fees.

9. How do I get my certificate after passing the exam?
Once you finish your exam, you will get your result at the same time in our LMS portal and you will receive your certificate from QA Assessor on your registered email within 2 working days.

10. How can the certificate be verified?
The provided certificate can be verified through the QA Assessor website.
